Correction: House vote panels on three 2025 second-special-session bills
November 3, 2026. We removed an incorrect “Recorded House vote” panel from three 2025 second-special-session bill pages: SB3, SB5, and HB20.
The panel selected a House vote using only the bill number. Those numbers were also used in the 2025 regular session, so the pages displayed a vote from a different bill and session. On the disaster-funding SB5 page, for example, the April 24, 2025 “Record 462” panel belonged to regular-session SB5, concerning dementia research—not to the disaster-funding bill. The official regular-session House journal identifies that vote.
The same session mismatch affected the vote panels on second-special-session SB3 and HB20. We removed all three panels rather than substituting unverified vote details. The bill explanations themselves remain available. For each bill’s actual action and text, use its official SB3 history, SB5 history, or HB20 history. The SB5 official text index includes the enrolled text and its passage certificate.
The vote display now requires a matching state, session, chamber, bill number, source journal, motion and date. We audited every other bill number in the vote file that was reused across the 2025 sessions; no other published called-session page displayed a mismatched vote panel. This correction does not imply that every vote or amendment for these bills has been individually annotated.
